Comparing the 2027 Prescription Drug Plans on medicare.gov

 If you do not have an account set up on Medicare's official website, please go to medicare.gov, and create one at your earliest convenience. 

By having an account, information on all of your filled prescription drugs from your pharmacy will show directly in your account. You will need this information in order to accurately compare the 2027 plans and their costs. Another benefit of having this account is your ability to keep track of your claims history which will be visible in your portal as soon as each claim is processed. 

If you choose not to set up an account, you will have to enter your prescriptions manually in order to do your drug plan review. Please watch the video above for a demonstration.

To set up your account, visit medicare.gov. Please make sure you see ‘An official website of the United States government' in the top left corner of your screen to ensure you are on Medicare’s official website and not a copycat site trying to steal your information (see image above). Click the 'Log in' link in the top right corner of your screen or click the 'Log in/create account' button under the Quick Tasks section.

Medicare now requires identity verification when setting up and logging into your account. You can view further information by visiting this link on medicare.gov.
